Transfer

visiting the archaeological site of Quirigua on the way there.
Boat trip from Puerto Barrios on the Caribbean
coast to the Sierramar Eco Lodge and check in. Afternoon tour by boat to the hot springs in the Río
Dulce. Evening visit to Livingston, to enjoy the
Afro-Indigenas (Garifuna) style of life. |
Day 2 |
Early
morning bird watching and explore caverns at Sierramar.
Hiking the paths. Breakfast at Sierramar for
all: late sleepers as well as early birds. Hike along
the coast through Garifuna Villages, hike along
the river to 7 Altars or travel by boat to Cocolí
Beach for a day full of sun and sand. |
Day 3 |
Boat
tour on the Río Dulce and a visit at the castle Castillo de San Felipe,
return to Antigua or Guatemala City. |
